Use the exploration count
The number that matters is the explored total in Discoveries, not the best shown for your current companion. Seven five-gap runs, for example, contribute thirty-five gaps even if five is still your highest individual score. Earlier discoveries do not spend the total. Unlocking Moss at ten and Amberwood at twenty leaves you moving toward Daily at thirty-five without starting the count again.
Choose Daily before starting
Course choices are made from the ready state. After reaching the milestone, leave the result screen for the forest menu and select Daily. Your chosen companion remains important because it determines pace, turn radius and vertical drift. Keep a familiar companion for the first attempt if you want to understand the new pattern. A challenge invitation cannot bypass the discovery requirement in a browser where Daily is still locked.
Expect a repeatable date-based pattern
Daily uses a pattern associated with a UTC calendar date. Retrying that date gives the same course geometry, which makes it useful for learning a particular sequence. It is still an arcade run with movement, collisions and a moving camera; unlocking Daily does not turn ORBIT into a turn-based puzzle. The displayed trail best is separate from your Classic best and is also specific to your companion. Choose Classic again whenever you want to return to the familiar standard course.
