Count progress across attempts
Every fully cleared gap adds one to your explored total. If you clear three gaps, then four, then three, you have explored ten and reached Moss. Crashing ends the current score but does not subtract the gaps already counted. This makes the discovery path useful while learning: a modest attempt can move you toward the next choice even without a personal best.
Know what each milestone adds
The discoveries alternate between movement choices, scenery and a course option. Moss and Ember are companions with different movement. Amberwood and Inkwild change the forest presentation. Daily trail supplies a date-based obstacle pattern. Pip, Wildwood and Classic are available from the beginning, so no unlock is required to learn the core game.
- 10 total gaps: Moss, the slower companion.
- 20 total gaps: Amberwood, the warmer forest.
- 35 total gaps: Daily trail.
- 55 total gaps: Ember, the faster companion.
- 80 total gaps: Inkwild, another forest palette.
Check your next discovery
Open Discoveries from the ready screen to see your explored count and the next threshold. When a run crosses a milestone, the result screen points you back to the menu. Make your selection before starting again. Progress normally belongs to this browser’s local storage; changing browsers or clearing site data can leave you with a different total. Keep using the same browser if retaining that discovery path matters to you.
