Use Classic for a stable reference
Classic is available from the first visit and is a useful place to learn a companion. Keeping that course fixed while trying Pip, Moss or Ember helps you notice differences in movement. It also makes an invitation accessible to someone who has not reached the Daily discovery. A Classic personal best is separate from each dated daily best, so switching courses changes the relevant record rather than erasing it.
Use Daily for a particular sequence
Daily unlocks at thirty-five total explored gaps and generates its obstacle pattern from a date. Repeating that date lets you investigate one sequence of approaches. The normal daily selection moves to the new UTC date for a new run, while a valid dated invitation can retain its specified course. Share the exact date if another player will try it later or from a different time zone.
Choose by the question you want to answer
If you are asking “How does Moss differ from Pip?”, Classic keeps one major variable stable. If you are asking “How can I get through this day’s awkward transition?”, stay on that Daily trail with one companion. Neither mode promises an easier run. Both retain collisions, a moving camera and the need to plan the exit from one gap toward the next. You can alternate between them for variety while keeping your comparisons specific to the course and companion involved.
