Check the screen you are using
ORBIT hides its Home Screen controls when it recognizes an installed standalone view and on layouts using a fine pointer. On a computer, look in the browser’s own installation menu. The absence of the phone-style button is deliberate and does not stop browser play.
If you opened the game through an existing Home Screen icon, you may already be looking at the installed experience. Return to the regular browser only if you need to inspect the address or installation options there.
Use instructions when no prompt appears
The native Install ORBIT button depends on a prompt supplied by the browser. When that prompt is unavailable, ORBIT can show manual instructions instead. On iPhone, the relevant route is Safari’s Share menu and Add to Home Screen. On Android, inspect the browser menu for its installation action.
Open a link in your regular browser if another app’s built-in viewing interface is obscuring those controls. Preserve the complete link when it contains a challenge you want to play.
Verify the address and purpose
Use the public HTTPS game address. ORBIT’s local Wi-Fi preview can support browser testing while explicitly lacking the secure context needed for its full installation and offline flow. Installing the website instead of the game also produces the wrong starting point for direct play.
You can continue playing without installation while investigating. Report your device, browser, exact launch context and the missing control’s expected location. Avoid uninstalling an existing copy or clearing its site data merely to make a button reappear: neither is needed to establish which installation path applies.
