Identify where the link opened

A message, social post or email can open a page inside that app’s own viewing interface. Before troubleshooting ORBIT itself, look at the surrounding controls and identify the app holding the page. That is especially useful when instructions mention a browser menu you cannot find.

The exact option for opening externally belongs to the host app and can vary. Look for a clearly labelled browser action, or copy the full link and paste it into your regular browser’s address field. You do not need to install another game.

Preserve the full game link

If you are following a score challenge, keep the entire address when moving it. ORBIT’s challenge details are encoded in the link, so copying only the hostname can discard the intended course or target. After opening, read the game’s displayed challenge information before starting.

If you simply want your usual game, follow Play from the official ORBIT website instead. Use one familiar browser context for regular play so you know where your discoveries and personal bests are stored.

Check progress before assuming it disappeared

ORBIT does not sign you into a central player profile. A different browsing context may show a different local record. If your discoveries look unfamiliar, return to the original context and compare before clearing anything.

Once the game is working in your chosen browser, you can follow that browser’s installation instructions and prepare offline access there. Report a reproducible issue with both the host app and the browser you tested. Saying only that the link failed leaves out the environment needed to investigate it.
