Identify the opening before starting
The solid branches extend from the top and bottom of the playing area. The space between them is the route through. Decorative forest details are background, so give your attention to the solid branch ends and the companion rather than the scenery.
The ready screen can show a demonstration behind its text. Use it to notice that the movement is curved, then begin your own run. The demonstration does not earn points or carry progress into your attempt.
Steer toward a safe crossing
Tap, click or press Space to reverse the curve. Make the first correction while there is room before the branches, then observe the resulting path. A companion moving upward will not instantly move downward after a flip; its heading changes continuously.
Aim for open space near the middle of the gap. Reaching the opening at its near edge is only part of the crossing. Keep watching until the companion has cleared the far edge, because it can still touch a branch while passing through.
Use the result as one observation
If the run ends, identify which problem happened: a branch collision, leaving the top or bottom of the clearing, or falling behind the moving forest. Pick one adjustment for the next attempt. An earlier reversal addresses a different problem from keeping more forward progress.
A score of zero can still reveal something useful about your first approach. Repeat with the same setup so the next attempt tests your adjustment instead of a different companion or viewing arrangement.
