Choose a target that fits the invitation
You do not have to share only a personal best. A modest completed run can make a more approachable first invitation than a record built over many attempts. For a new player, use Pip and Classic so the requested companion and course are available from the beginning. A daily invitation is more useful once both players have unlocked Daily at thirty-five total explored gaps.
Agree on the comparison
For a daily challenge, use the exact date and the same companion. The link handles those details when they are available and compatible. Consider agreeing to the same broad window orientation as well, because available horizontal space can affect the view ahead. You can also decide informally how many attempts each person wants to take. ORBIT’s invitation does not enforce a tournament format, equal practice time or a live turn order.
Read success without overclaiming
A result above the target is shown as a completed challenge. It is a local result, not a verified placement on a global leaderboard. Screenshots and cards are useful for a friendly exchange but should not be described as an anti-cheat system. If one player must change companion because it is locked, start a fresh invitation with settings both can use. That preserves the simple purpose of the challenge: give another person a recognizable trail and a concrete score to try to exceed.
